Title

Turning process parameter of optimization by using Taguchi

Abstract

The optimization of turning operations based on the Taguchi method. Three cutting parameters namely, cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut, are optimized with considerations of multiple performance characteristics such as tool life, cutting force, and surface finish. The optimum turning process parameter are estimated using Taguchi application. In this work we consider three types of Grade of aluminium materials, EN 19, EN 24, WPS. Comparing Taguchi and experimental process we found optimal solution for Turning process parameters.
