The advent of digital technologies and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) has transformed the business landscape, presenting both significant challenges and opportunities for MSMEs. These technological advancements promise enhanced efficiency, product customization, and market expansion. However, they also necessitate that MSMEs embrace digitalization to maintain competitiveness in a rapidly evolving business environment. Despite various government initiatives to promote digitalization, many MSMEs struggle to implement smart manufacturing technologies effectively. This study focuses on the technological adoption of MSMEs in Haveri District, examining how these enterprises can leverage Industry 4.0 to enhance their competitiveness and sustainability. By analyzing the current technological landscape and identifying the barriers to digital adoption, this research aims to provide actionable insights and strategies for MSMEs. The findings are intended to inform policymakers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders on the importance of integrating digital technologies into MSME development initiatives, ultimately unlocking their full potential to drive economic growth and prosperity.
