Ralph Waldo Emerson and Rabindranath Tagore worked to bring the alien energies of east and west together. Vedanta's concept of freedom in the east and Emerson's concept of freedom in the west are nearly identical; both spoke of humanity's liberation from darkness and the establishment of truth, light, bliss, and harmony. For this mundane culture, the religious thoughts and views of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Rabindranath Tagore have been focused. Their intellectual correspondence demonstrates how both of them transcended contemporary religious traditions and established an original relationship with the Supreme Being, which was a great effort towards divinity by both of them, despite the fact that they came from different cultures and literary periods. This comparative analysis, in my opinion, gives us insights into the roots of what true spiritualism is, which will aid in the creation of global peace. In this vital era of human life, they taught people about the reality of life, the philosophy of divinity, the philosophy of oneness, self-reliance, and the true way of life. Through a circle of friends led by Emerson formed American transcendentalism and the perception of divinity established by Tagore in India. American transcendentalism began to influence the American intellect. They changed people's religious ideas and helped them realise their own spirituality.
