This research work proposes a novel scheduling algorithm called Adaptive Resource-Aware Scheduling (ARAS) for cloud computing environments. The ARAS algorithm aims to dynamically allocate resources based on workload characteristics, resource availability, and user-defined priorities. Through a combination of task prioritization, resource allocation, and load balancing techniques, ARAS optimizes resource utilization, minimizes task completion time, and enhances overall system efficiency. The performance of the ARAS algorithm is evaluated using various performance metrics, including makespan, resource utilization, response time, fairness, and throughput. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of ARAS in improving cloud scheduling performance
