Heat conduction is a fundamental process in many fields, from materials science to engineering and environmental science. The mathematical description of heat conduction often involves partial differential equations (PDEs) to model heat transfer within a medium. This paper explores the application of PDEs in heat conduction, with a focus on the heat equation and related equations. We discuss numerical methods for solving these equations and provide real-world examples of how they are used in various applications.
