Title

SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME (SIDS)

Abstract

Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is the unexpected and unexplained passing of a baby under 1 year old, often linked to sleep, earning it the colloquial term "crib death. " despite extensive research, the elusive nature of SIDS continues to make prevention challenging, making it the primary cause of mortality for infants aged 1 month to 1 year(1) .
