There are two ways, which add to fake news, are disinformation and misinformation. Both of them equally cause harm to an organization and the consumers. However, the two differ in the intention of their creation. Misinformation is spread by a person when he or she is actually not aware if the information in inaccurate. In contrast, disinformation is spread with a purpose to distribute false information. Once in the long run almost every media association carries the possibility of falling prey to fake news, specially on social media. At times they also make use of click baits. A clickbait is a logically inserted hyperlink aimed to attract web traffic to desired sources, which usually offer reliable news content, but also make use of sensationalised, blown-up, pretentious, or inappropriate headlines, descriptions on social media, and/or images or graphics/videos (Penn State University Libraries, 2017). Sometimes it is also used for promotional purposes.
