The empowerment approach is a powerful tool for women to increase their independence and ability to rely on themselves. This approach recognizes the important roles that women play in their households, communities, and workplaces while working towards gender inequality through grassroots action. Many financially struggling women lack access to resources that could improve their standard of living. One solution to this issue is establishing Self-Help Groups where members gather and pool resources towards shared goals which provides valuable support for isolated individuals handling challenges. Micro-credit initiatives have also been successful in improving financial circumstances among female populations such as in Bangladesh by providing small loans and financial aid making it possible for them to start businesses or invest in education.
