A CASE STUDY OF SHATAVARI GHRITA PRATIMARSHA NASYA IN INDUCTION OF OVULATION IN PCOS CONDITION.
Abstract
Women play an integral role in the society. They are the backbone of families and are crucial to the growth and development of communities.
Polycystic ovarian disease is a common hormonal condition that affects women of reproductive age and now days it is leading cause of infertility and became a significant public health problem. Shatavari is Sheeta, has Kashaya Madhura rasa, it is snigdha, Vrushya, does the rasayana karma . Mitigates vata and pitta, relieves constipation. It increases Varna, Oja, Bala, Smruti, medha and Buddhi. Among the types of nasya, according to matrabheda Pratimarsha Nasya is shigrakari and when it comes to gunas, it is Shrestha.
