Title

EFFECT OF STRENGTHENING EXERCISE ON PAIN, RANGE OF MOTION, MUSCLE STRENGTH AND FUNCTIONAL ABILITIES OF A FROZEN SHOULDER PATIENT: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Although many treatments, especially physical therapy management for frozen shoulder, have been studied and show better results with conservative treatment, the effectiveness of strengthening exercise in frozen shoulder patient has not been clearly established in the research work. In this study, the researcher seeks to compare and review frozen shoulder treatments in a conservative manner to point out the key benefits and effects of strengthening exercises, specifically treating and alleviating frozen shoulder symptoms using strengthening exercise. DESIGN: Systematic review FROZEN SHOULDER PATIENTS: Both first- and second-degree frozen shoulder sufferers. INTERVENTIONS; Impact of strengthening exercises on the patient's discomfort, degree of movements, strength of muscles, and ability to function. OUTCOME MEASURES; Pain reduction. Improve mobility (ROM), muscular strength, practical skills, as well as fulfillment with care THE RESULT’S WERE AS FOLLOWS; just the four publications as well as 4 papers from these systematic review's qualitative evaluation satisfied the necessary requirements. The strengthening exercises shows effectiveness in both supervised with or without home exercises. The strengthening exercises were compared with other exercises and the outcome measures were seen that strengthening exercises provides improvement in muscle strength, reduces pain, increase range of motion and improves functional abilities. Although the need of more research is advised to be conducted to improve the search CONCLUSION; According to the findings, strengthening exercises (either by itself or as part of a program) is beneficial in enhancing functional capacities by increasing range of motion, reducing discomfort, and reducing disability. Prospective studies ought to concentrate upon how strengthening exercises for muscles affect patient fulfillment in addition to long-term effects and achievements. Further investigations in this domain might involve a subsequent investigation that examines the extent to which the improvements in shoulder endurance persisted following the therapy's duration of three-week course. Consideration should be given to shoulder area muscular strengthening. Future research on the effectiveness of strengthening exercises should be conducted to reinforce the study's supporting evidence. Further research should be done on resistance training. Resistance exercise should be further searched with Thera band efficiency in both early and later stage of frozen shoulder.
