The research report titled "A Study on Identification of Training and Development Needs in NLC India Limited at Neyveli Township" delves into the examination of training and development requirements within NLC India Limited. The project commenced with an induction program providing insights into HR functions and an overview of various facets of NLC India Limited. Subsequently, we delved into researching various organizational dimensions. Through the use of questionnaires, we aimed to identify and analyze both individual and organizational training needs, covering aspects such as individual development, organizational needs, and task-oriented training requirements, among others. Prior to the final survey, a sample testing phase was conducted within the HRD department to identify questionnaire flaws. Following data collection, one-to-one interactions were held for further clarification, and data was then analyzed using appropriate statistical tools. The analysis revealed significant findings, leading to the formulation of suggestions and recommendations for the HR department to devise future strategies. The findings were meticulously recorded for future reference.
