Demand forecasting accuracy plays a pivotal role in supply chain management, particularly in industries characterized by dynamic market conditions, such as the pharmaceutical sector. This study investigates the impact of demand forecasting accuracy on supply chain performance, with a focus on the sales data of pharmaceutical products within a single pharmacy setting. Two primary research objectives guide this inquiry. Firstly, the study compares the effectiveness of different forecasting methods utilized for pharmaceutical sales data. Secondly, the research aims to propose strategies and best practices aimed at enhancing demand forecasting accuracy to optimize supply chain performance. The findings of this study hold significance for practitioners seeking to improve supply chain performance through informed decision-making and strategic forecasting practices.
