Order to improve the power quality in MATLAB Simulink, this paper presents a modeling and simulation-based study of a system made up of a hybrid energy source based on solar photovoltaic and wind turbine energy sources, a traction load, specifically an induction motor, and a shunt active power filter connected between sources and load. The over-reliance on coal-based thermal energy, which produces significant environmental damage despite being abundant and inexpensive, accounts for about 40% of global power output. To address this, the adoption of non conventional resources power should be encouraged. There are two renewable energy resources: solar and wind. that are most frequently used. each has drawbacks of its own, such as reliance on irradiance levels, issues with solar PV array overheating, and dependency.
