Weather forecasting is important in everyday life, because it could have an impact on community activities. Meteorologists predicts weather in many ways. This study mainly examines weather prediction using the Markov chain ,where the Markov chain is a stochastic model that is used to predict future events based only on the current event. The data used in this study taken from “Weather Underground”, the weather that occurred in around four cities namely Chennai, Vellore, Trichy and Tuticorin from 01.12.2023 to 07.12.23 in Tamil Nadu. Using the Transition matrix & Steady state matrix in the Markov chain to predict some weather that will occur during the next 1 week.
