: This study was conducted to determine effectiveness of infrared light therapy on pain with episiotomy wound among postnatal mothers at selected hospital, Jalna. The total sample was used in study was 40 in which 20 taken for experimental group and 20 for control group, were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The structured questionnaire was prepared to obtain the demographic profile, contributing as age, religion, marital status, education status, occupation, gravida status and weight. Data was collected with the help of demographic profile and was done in selected Hospital at Jalna in Maharashtra state. On 1st day, the pre-test was done with help of tool. Each consecutive day, visit was done to the samples and infrared light therapy were implemented on daily basis. on the 3th day i.e., monitoring of effectiveness of infrared light therapy on pain with episiotomy wound. the result showed that there is correlation between pre and post-test and also there is significant relationship between performance of pre and post-test outcome.
