This research article examines the major obstacles encountered in teaching English in India, including linguistic diversity, inadequate teacher training, unequal access to resources, and the dominance of regional languages. Drawing upon existing literature, this paper offers insights into potential solutions and strategies to address these challenges and enhance English language education in India.
