Acharya Sushruta has identified 98 such vessels to avoid during therapeutic bloodletting to prevent severe complications. This paper delves into the concept of Avedhya Sira, its significance in Ayurveda, and its modern medical correlations. Understanding these anatomical and physiological principles from both ancient and contemporary perspectives can enhance current medical practices, particularly in surgical procedures and the management of vascular health.
