Abstract

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a rapid shift from traditional classroom learning to digital education platforms, significantly affecting students across India. This research article explores the effects of this transition on various aspects of students' lives, including access to digital infrastructure, quality of education, socio-economic disparities, mental health and well-being, and policy responses. Using secondary data from reputable sources, the study highlights the digital divide, varying quality of digital education, socio-economic impacts and governmental interventions. The findings underscore the need for targeted efforts to bridge the digital divide and ensure equitable access to quality education.
