Abstract The Unified Lending Interface (ULI), recently introduced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), represents a pioneering initiative designed to optimize credit delivery and advance financial inclusion, particularly for smaller and rural borrowers. By addressing the inefficiencies inherent in traditional credit systems, the ULI aims to streamline the lending process, reduce turnaround times, and broaden access to credit. This article investigates the transformative potential of the ULI within India's lending landscape, analyzing its role in delivering comprehensive financial solutions and its broader implications for the Indian financial ecosystem. Additionally, the study explores international counterparts and their effects on credit access to offer a thorough understanding of ULI's design, benefits, and its global impact.
