Fly ash reinforced epoxy composites are developed by simple manual stirring or mechanical stirring and pouring into standard mold size.Evaluation on mechanical and physical characteristics of fly ash reinforced epoxy composites.Their application in the current manufacturing industries has been playing a prominent role replacing other materials which are been inferior than fly ash composites.The effects of variations in reinforcement by volume percentage such as 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% mass of base material (epoxy resin L-12)have been evaluated.The tensile test and hardness test of the composites were determined by using universal testing machine and Rockwell hardness testing machine respectively.The fly ash used in the experiment is class C fly ash with grain size of 50 microns.The tests are conducted and results are obtained such that the composite material prepared should be accurate and useful.Composite with 5% fly ash shows better mechanical properties has compared to 2.5% and 7.5%.
