This study present the use of EPANET software for the existing water distribution system. In India the water distribution system having problems wih there design .to solve the problem through the distribution system and also to reduce the water scarity problem .our area of study is moshi Zone because the moshi is metropolitan region , these area carry out the problem of unequal water pressure due to the undulated surface area. Moshi zone facing the water scarity problem the reason behind the scarity is unequal water pressure. Unequal water pressure is not sufficient to fulfill the requirement of water demand of moshi zone. there may leakages in pipe which give results difference in pressure, so to know the behavior of pressures pipe networks we are using the EPANET software .

EPANET – Environmental Protection Agency Network , ESR –Elevated Stroange Resrvoir , MDD – Maximum Daily Demand , NRW- non –Revenue Water , PHD – Peak Hour Demand.
