Title

PHYSICO-CHEMICAL & BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF KAGINA RIVER AT STRETCHES IN SHAHABAD TALUKA KARNATAKA

Abstract

The present work is aimed at assessing the Kagina river water quality properties of Shahabad taluka. The Kagina river water samples of the Shahabad village’s samples are collected with a frequency of 01 times after a gap of every 30 days are collected and analyzed for Physico-chemical and biological analysis for one year The following parameters have been analyzed pH, Total Hardness, Calcium, magnesium, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), BOD, Nitrate, Chloride, Total Dissolved Solids, and Alkalinity and MPN. The result analyzed by Correlation and Regression, have been used to suggest the water quality.
