Air pollution is a significant environmental issue that affects the health and wellbeing of millions of people worldwide. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is a widely used metric to measure the level of air pollution in a given area. With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT), there has been a significant shift in the way we monitor air quality. IoT-based air quality monitoring systems have emerged as a promising solution to accurately measure and monitor air quality in real-time. This paper explores the potential of IoT-based AQI monitoring systems and discusses their advantages over traditional monitoring methods. The study provides an in-depth analysis of the implementation of IoT-based AQI monitoring systems and their impact on environmental and public health. The findings of this study suggest that IoT-based AQI monitoring systems can provide more accurate and timely data, which can be used to mitigate the harmful effects of air pollution on public health and the environment.
