Abstract
The integration of digital tools in the Indian education sector has brought about a groundbreaking change in teaching and learning. This research paper delves into the use of digital education tools in schools, colleges and universities in India, focusing on understanding their impact on the educational landscape. The article provides an overview of the current state of digitalization in Indian education, highlighting popular online learning platforms such as BYJU'S, Coursera, edX, Unacademy, Khan Academy, UpGrad, Swayam, Udemy, Toppr, Vedantu and Testbook. It also explores the growth and accessibility of online courses and MOOCs, highlighting the benefits and challenges they pose, including bridging the digital divide and ensuring accessibility closeness between students. The use of educational software and applications to promote interactive learning experiences is also considered, as are the challenges encountered in implementing and maintaining the software. The article concludes by presenting the many benefits of digital education tools, from improved engagement and personalized learning to accessibility and environmental sustainability.
